Change in renewal application deadline

With effect from 13 July 2026, the renewal application deadline for CSRO’s licences has been extended to 1 day before expiry of licence. Licensees can submit a licence renewal application no less than one day before the expiry of the current licence.

Update Licence

Information about a licensee’s obligation to inform CSRO of any changes or inaccuracies, and the process to submit the changes.

With effect from 16 March 2026, licensee is required to notify CSRO of any change or inaccuracy in the information and particulars that the licensee and/or its officers of the business entity submitted to the Licensing Officer in relation to the licence, within 30 calendar days* of such change or upon knowledge of such inaccuracy. Such information and particulars include, but are not limited to:

  1. The appointment of any officers of the business entity;

  2. When an officer of the business entity ceases to hold such office;

  3. Changes to or inaccuracies in the licensee’s and/or its officers of the business entity’s names;

  4. Criminal convictions or civil judgments entered against the licensee and/or its officers of the business entity for offences or proceedings involving fraud, dishonesty, breach of fiduciary duty, or moral turpitude, or any offences under the Cybersecurity Act 2018; or

  5. Where the licensee and/or its officers of the business entity have been declared bankrupt or have gone into compulsory or voluntary liquidation other than for the purpose of amalgamation or reconstruction.

1. Photocopy of both sides of NRIC/Work Pass, or photocopy of Passport showing the personal particulars and official descriptions (for overseas officers).

2. (For overseas officers only) Certificate of Clearance or equivalent documentation from the relevant authorities in the home country obtained no earlier than three months before submission, certifying that the officer does not have any record of criminal conviction in the home country.

3. A copy of the Register of Directors (ROD) records from ACRA or equivalent obtained no earlier than one week before submission, reflecting the appointment details of the officer.

Cessation of any existing officers of the business entity

Change in name of the licensee

Within 30 calendar days of such change

1. A copy of the licensee’s latest ACRA or equivalent records obtained no earlier than one week reflecting the change in name and the effective date of change.

Changes to or inaccuracies in name and/or identity number (e.g. NRIC/Work Pass number, Passport number) of any officers of the business entity

Within 30 calendar days of such change or knowing of such inaccuracy

1. Photocopy of both sides of the officer’s new NRIC/Work Pass, or photocopy of the new Passport showing the personal particulars and official descriptions (for overseas officers).

Changes in the licensee’s and/or its officers of the business entity's declarations submitted in the licence application(s) (e.g. CTM certification, criminal conviction, civil judgement, bankruptcy, etc)

1. Name of the licensee/officer involved.

2. [For criminal convictions] The offence committed, place and date of offence, and sentence received.

3. [For civil judgements] The nature, date, and outcome of the civil proceedings.

4. [For bankruptcy related changes involving the licensee] The date of liquidation/winding-up/receivership/composition/arrangement, the total debt amount, the balance outstanding amount.

5. Relevant supporting documents (if any).
